Small Water Beetle Sampler

Description

This small water beetle sampler consists of 5 very small water beetles for $12. The beetles you receive will be random and unidentified. They will be very small and approximately in the 3 to 6 mm range. Some or all of them are likely to be in the genus Laccophilus. Some may be diving beetles, while others may be water scavenger beetles.

Unless you have a very small aquarium and want a “nano” vibe for your set up (see related products below), we recommend that you keep these with other diving beetles and aquatic insects we offer separately. They are priced cheaply to help you add dimensionality to your tank. Some big, some small insects, and always lots of random activity and movement from the top of the tank to the bottom.

Overnight shipping is highly recommended, especially if temps in transit will be near freezing or over 83 degrees.

These beetles always seem to find food in our communal tanks. We drop dead insects and fish food pellets (related products, below) into our communal tanks that include these active, little beetles.
