Giant Canyon Isopods

Description

These are our largest available isopods but they are currently only available as a new generation of small specimens. Care requirements are similar to those of other isopods. Available in cultures of 12 individuals, for $15. Porcellio dilatatus have a rougher texture than the similar Porcellio laevis. Both grow to about 20 mm. Like other terrestrial isopods, they are sexually mature when they are 1/3 of their ultimate size.
