Water Lettuce Aquatic Plant

Description

Water lettuce is an attractive floating plant with a root system that will grow in proportion to the depth of the tank. The diameter of the plant on the surface of the water will also grow in relation to root depth.

With adequate lighting, artificial or natural, this plant will self propagate VERY quickly where water columns are full of nutrients. The new plants that form are small at first and easy to remove if you are happy with the number of plants already in your tank. Or, put them in a new tank and get more water bugs!

We add this to every tank we have as it helps to clean the water.
