Leaf-beetle Jumping Spider

Description

Sassacus papenhoei is the leaf-beetle jumping spider. It is a small species, but brilliantly colored in metallic greens and/or purples. Feeding just fine on D. melanogaster fruit flies. Available as subadults or adults. These are maybe the prettiest US jumping spider species but they are very small.
