Hogna antelucana

Description

Hogna antelucana is a large species of wolf spider. I’ve seen some approach the size of Carolina wolf spiders, our largest wolf spider species in the US.

H. antelucana are generally pale and bulky but have nice markings on the cephalothorax and are a deep black on the underside of the body. Current size is juveniles with 3/4 inch legspan to 1.25 inches (approximately). We try to send only females through this sales/listing but no guarantee since obvious male characteristics only show up in the last couple instars.
