Description

The Giant Asian Mantis Hierodula membranacea has a classic shape. They tend to be green, but are sometimes tan, and are as large as any popular hobby mantis gets. This is a great beginner’s species.

Available through this listing as approximately L4/L5 nymphs or so nymphs (have shed their skin 3 or 4 times, give or take) $19.99 each. Unsexed. Feeding on house flies or similar sized prey. Please note that antennae on this species are somewhat fragile and one or both are often shortened or missing on arrival. These will regenerate as the mantis molts. Please take this into consideration.
