Florida Keys Giant Centipede

Description

Scolopendra longipes (formerly S. alternans) is the largest US centipede other than S. heros. Length on these is around 2.5 inches.

These centipedes grow large and are quick and effective predators. Do not underestimate their venom. Not recommended for children or new keepers.
