Florida Keys Giant Centipede

Description

Scolopendra longipes (formerly S. alternans) is the largest US centipede other than S. heros. Length on these is around 1.5 to 2 inches, give or take.

These centipedes grow large and are quick and effective predators. Do not underestimate their venom. Not recommended for children or new keepers.
