Clarkhydrus Diving Beetles

Description

Clarkhydrus is a genus of small water beetles. We offer them here in a 5 pack for $9. These small diving beetles measure well under 1/4 of an inch but they are ornate and active and lend a fun element of diversity to the tank. Great in a 5 gallon tank or smaller where you’re more likely to notice them vs. in a larger tank.

Exact species and patterning may vary. We also might have the genus wrong as these beetles are little studied and documented. See photos of this genus on Bugguide.net
