Anadenobolus monilicornis, the bumblebee millipede, is a naturalized US species. It was introduced by the ornamental plant industry from South America accidentally but is not considered to be an invasive. This tropical species does not do well below 72 F. Adults continue to grow and molt after sexual maturity at around 1.3 inches, reaching a maximum length of about 2.25 inches. Present specimens measure 1 to 2 inches and are available unsexed for $6 each.
