Toad Bugs

Description

Toad Bugs are smaller than a dime but they are known to live around one year and have been reported as living five years. These true bugs (Hemiptera) are adorable and perfectly named little bugs. They are predators of small insects. They are not aquatic, per se, but are always living in association with streams and creek sides on the shore. They are commonly found where the water saturates the stream bank.
