Description
The Micro Goblin Beetle is Apsena pubescens are the second smallest teneb (beetle family tenebrionidae) we make a listing for. Priced accordingly, they are two-tone in coloration and have small hairs (setae) covering their abdomens.
They are a nice addition to communal desert beetle tank and lend an element of diversity with their smaller size. See photos at Bugguide.net.
They feed well on little bits of fruit and vegetable. We feed them primarily with fish food pellets. They’ll also scavenge other dead insects and just generally eat the same fare as what you feed your other desert beetles.
