Argoporis Black

Description

Argoporis Black is a darker species in the genus that we less commonly encounter and I’m just finally making a separate listing for them because, well, people love diversity in their tanks and Argoporis spp. are just one of the best for rounding out the tank.

Limit one per order, and due to low inventory, and it will probably always be this way, sorry.

We believe this species is Argoporis alutacea, based on comparison photos on Bugguide.net and INaturalist.com.

Red legged teneb beetles are a nice addition to communal desert beetle tanks with their two-tone coloration and medium-small stature.

They feed well on little bits of fruit and vegetable. We feed them primarily with fish food pellets. They’ll also scavenge other dead insects.
