Vietnamese Dead Leaf Mantis

Description

Deroplatys gorochovi is the Vietnamese Dead Leaf Mantis. Like other Deroplatys species, these are amazing dead leaf mimics and the triangular pronotum on this species accounts for about half the full length of the body. They could easily be mistaken for mushrooms nature, and few casual observers would sooner guess they were a mantis.

L3/L4 or so nymphs/immatures, unsexed (have shed about 2 or 3 times). Currently feeding on D. hydei fruit flies or house flies (see related products below).
