These beetles are very rarely available, but we love darkling and ironclad beetles and go to great lengths to acquire them. Like death-feigning beetles, these ironclads will play dead.

These are large beetles, about an inch in length, colorful and with fun personalities. They apparently eat lichen in nature. We find that spraying it down makes it more palatable or the beetles.
