Description

Sphagnum moss is a broad trade name that covers what appears to be a couple different kinds of mosses but and our own type varies based on our own suppliers. Color ranges from beige to green, generally, and it is carpet-like in texture. It can hold 20X its dry weight in water and this goes a long way to promote humidity in a properly set up tank. It can be washed and reused a few times.
