Description

The smoky oak millipede Narceus gordanus is the largest regularly available US species in terms of thickness. Color forms vary geographically within peninsular Florida. Available specimens vary in coloration from brownish to gray and measure around 2 inches long. They approach 4 or so inches in length when fully grown.

Millipedes require a substrate of mixed organic matter (see related products, below).

    These millipedes are amazing. As always, I received a nice, healthy specimen. These remind me of boa constrictors, as they hold on tight! Such large, thick animals.

    These millipedes are very fat, but their legs are so small that they resemble giant walking sausages. I ordered them healthy and active and immediately began exploring.
