Description
Smeringerus vachoni is a medium sized scorpion species in the same genus as the dune scorpion (S. mesaensis). Coloration on S. vachoni is a bit more variable and, arguably, pretty.

Venom is considered relatively mild, similar in pain to that of a bee sting but it sort of depends on where you are stung. Buyer beware. This is an aggressive species and will sting if provoked.
Medium to large specimens. Unsexed at $18 each.
