This listing is for a Phidippus carneus captive bred spiderling.
3rd to 4th instar spiderlings are now ready from a red mother. Date of birth is 1/8/26. They are currently feeding on D. melanogaster fruit flies, as they have been stable on since the first instar.
$14.99 each, unsexed only. They are too young to reliably sex.
Please note that these are very small spiderlings. We offer a spiderling habitat kit in the links below that is a good size for spiderlings this small.
The mother is a red, white and black specimen. Note that the photo on this page is of an adult male. The babies will need a few molts to color up, of course, and they are offered here unsexed and currently all look the same as each other.

The seller kept in contact with me with dates the spider would ship, a very nice guy, and after I got my spider I emailed him a thank you and he told me all about his love for his bugs. He puts a lot of time, energy, love, and money into doing what he does.They are very well cared for! Shipping was incredibly fast, spider was wrapped amazingly well and was a happy, healthy and BEAUTIFUL little spood! He has a wonderful appetite, and is very docile. He’s about the size of my pinky nail, and he is just stunning! He has a cool bright orange and black butt (sorry I don’t know all the terminology about spiders yet, I’m researching every day though). He looks like a little Halloween spider…lol. I bring out his enclosure every night and set it next to me while I throw on a movie and he comes out of his nest and climbs right up to the top and hangs with me.
Believe me, you will not be disappointed if you get one of these spiders. I think he’s the perfect size, very pretty, amazing temperament and just adorable! I used to be afraid of spiders, but this little guy is helping me understand that they are pretty amazing!
