Description
Eomantis yunnanensis is the Lacewing Mantis. This is a small mantis species and it’s pale green with beautiful transparent, spotted/speckled wings. They very much look like green lacewings in the order Neuroptera, family Chrysopidae.
Available as L2/L3 or so nymphs/immatures, unsexed (have shed about one or two times). Currently feeding on D. melanogaster fruit flies.
$18 each. This is probably not a great beginner’s species as they are very small, but that said they will tackle wingless fruit flies just fine and have that same, typical level of predator response to their prey opportunities.
