Our kinshi consists of an oak based substrate with other ingredients including seeds and soy and bran perhaps, and that is filled with mycelia (mushroom roots, basically). Full disclosure, this is waste from growing mushrooms for human consumption and so fruiting has occurred which takes nutrients from the wood, but it is still the best product of its kind we’ve been able to source and we are offering it now at a cheap price with hopes you will test it out on your stag beetles and other bugs and let us know how it works. We are currently testing it on our bugs, too! It is also an awesome product for millipedes and other fungus/wood feeding species.

Offering one zip lock sandwich sized baggie of this product for $6 each. Store unused portions in your refrigerator. We mist the product upon setting it in the pet bug tank.

Under no circumstances should you consume any mushrooms produced by this product yourself. Though we harvested and ate mushrooms off of them, the world is filled with spores and we don’t know what might grow on them upon arrival and as you introduce household spores, etc.
