Hogna antelucana Male

Description

Hogna antelucana is a large species of wolf spider. I’ve seen some approach the size of Carolina wolf spiders, our largest wolf spider species in the US.

This listing is for confirmed males with legspans around 1 to 2 inches, give or take. Usually we cannot confirm the sex until they are subadults or adults and so that gives you an indication for how soon they will be ready to breed with your female, which typically is why people by male spiders.

H. antelucana are generally pale and bulky but have nice markings on the cephalothorax and are a deep black on the underside of the body.
