Description
Domino Roaches Therea petiveriana, the name says it all. A very unusual and dare we say, beautiful cockroach! They are beetle mimics, possibly of Anthia sp. tiger beetles (see photos on Wikipedia ). Nymphs tend to burrow during the day, and only adults have a limited ability to climb glass. These insects feed primarily on dried leaves, but love small bits of protein-based pet foods and fruit.
Small nymphs for $2.50 each. Only adults have the black and white coloration in the photo (see video below).
Roaches love jelly products which are healthy, clean, don’t spoil and don’t attract pests or mold like rotting fruit sometimes does, particularly during warmer months of the year. I also offer mine fish food pellets in small amounts for protein and other nutrients. These small pellets disappear quickly and prevent attraction of mites, etc. Substrate in your roach tank provides both nutrition and humidity for your pets. My roach care sheet is located here.
Sorry, no shipping to Florida.
