Description

The Cryptic Mantis Sibylla pretiosa has an incredibly unusual morphology. Back for the first time in yeeears! Their body lines are difficult to make out against a background of sticks and foliage. Their small abdomens sit atop a very long set of spindly legs and their long necks are topped with a heart-shaped crown. It’s hard to believe that nature has contrived such an odd mantis.
