Cork Bark

Description

Cork bark is a very attractive section of wood with multiple uses in the pet bug tank.

Pieces available have a width that is 2 to 3 inches and a length that is 4 to 5 inches.

As a bit of ground cover it provides security for pet bugs like isopods, millipedes, beetles, scorpions, roaches, centipedes and well, pretty much anything that lives on the tank floor. These animals will often tirelessly look for a place to hide, even stressing themselves out, if one is not provided for them.

It can also be glued to the side of the tank or leaned against a tank wall to create vertical climbing structures or molting platforms. It also floats for aquatic applications.

It holds up very well in dry and humid tanks and is resistant to mold. These have been popular in pet tanks for decades.
