Captive Bred Regal Jumping Spider

Description

Soon offering Captive Bred Regal Jumping Spider pets. The regal jumping spider Phidippus regius is one of the most popular pet spiders in the arachnid hobby which is mostly dominated by tarantulas, of course. These natives are one of the largest species in the US though these are young, small specimens.

Spiderlings hatched in late July 2024 and will be ready to ship in Sept. Please get on the waiting list if you’d like to be notified when they are ready.

$14.99 each for immature spiderlings. Unsexed only, sorry.

This listing is for young 3rd or so instar captive-bred Phidippus regius. They are stable and currently feeding very well on D. melanogaster wingless fruit flies. We cannot sex them as they haven’t taken on their sexual colorations or characters yet.

This is one of the more sensitive-in-shipping species we offer, perhaps because they are so visual. Fedex overnight shipping is highly recommended, per the terms of service page.
