Description
Blaberus discoidalis discoid roaches are commonly kept as feeders for tarantulas, mantises, reptiles and amphibians. They grow and reproduce quickly and cannot climb tank surfaces OR fly. Feed them a little dried dogfood, fruits and vegetables or whatever. They really aren’t picky. This was the go to species for many years as a feeder roach before dubia and Turkestan/red runners came along. I’m just starting to reproduce them again after taking a couple years off.
Small nymphs $2 each.
Roaches love jelly products which are healthy, clean, don’t spoil and don’t attract pests or mold like rotting fruit sometimes does, particularly during warmer months of the year. I also offer mine fish food pellets in small amounts for protein and other nutrients. These small pellets disappear quickly and prevent attraction of mites, etc. Substrate in your roach tank provides both nutrition and humidity for your pets.
Sorry, no shipping to Florida.
