Female Phidippus regius Juvenile

Description

This listing is for a confirmed female Phidippus regius, juvenile regal jumping spider. One per customer. She has the mass of a house fly or so, maybe a little larger. And she is perfectly capable of taking down house-fly sized prey, including the red runner roaches we offer. Some people will feed them small crickets from the pet store, or mealworms.

Juvenile means they are not a spiderling and not an adult, but something in between.

The regal jumping spider Phidippus regius is one of the most popular pet spiders in the arachnid hobby. These natives are one of the largest species in the US.
