Mexican Jumping Beans

Description
The famous Mexican Jumping Beans are moth larvae that live in the seed/fruit capsules of a plant.
We offer them as a novelty, more than as a pet. 5 pack of jumping “beans” for $9.99. Be careful with them around especially young children. They are small and could be a choking hazard.
No guarantee on lifespan. They are said to live as larvae for a couple months before becoming cocoons within the nut. You might see a moth after a few months. Though their foodplant does not occur in the United States, we ask that you do not release the moths into the wild.
They don’t exactly jump in the sense that they catch air, but warmth (as if held in the hand for a bit) will activate the larvae inside and get them moving.
You can read lots more about them at Wikipedia.
