Purple Ivory Millipede

Description

This listing is for a rarely available color form of the familiar Chicobolus spinigerus ivory millipede. These come from a different location and apparently hold a slight purple coloration longer than the young specimens of the more commonly available black and white form. These grow to almost 4 inches and live for 5 to 10 years. They currently measure in at 3/4 of an inch to 1.5 inches. They are attractive and more surface-active on the substrate than many other hobby species.

Sorry but these are too young to easily sex and so they are sold unsexed. We will not be retaining any to breed and so our packers will just grab and go.

Note that photo is of the standard black and white color form while this listing is for a purplish morph.
