Description
Platymeris sp. “Mombo” as in the video below. Mombos are larger and more rarely available than white and red spot assassin bugs.
These have HORRIBLY painful bites. Do not, under any circumstances underestimate this insects ability to jump on your finger and make you beg a dozen bees had stung you for a few hours. The can also apparently spit their venom from their beak-like rostrums.
