The king of kings, the Horrid King Assassin Bug is a cricket’s worst nightmare.

Psytalla horrida now available (adults are pictured, above). These “Horrid King Assassin Bugs” are the latest and no doubt greatest assassin species ever to enter the hobby!

These have a VERY painful bite and can supposedly shoot venom out of their rostrum (beaklike mouthpart). I’ve never seen them do the latter but it should be considered as you decide to buy this insect. Buyer beware- this is NOT a pet for kids and not a pet for handling.

I ordered three of these as nymphs, and they all arrived living, moving, and in perfect condition. One started feeding the moment I offered it a small superworm. I’m very eager to see them grow into spiny little monsters.
