Six-spotted Fishing Spider

Description

Dolomedes are very large spiders known as fishing spiders. This listing is for Dolomedes triton, the six-spotted fishing spider. These are perhaps the prettiest species of fishing spider in the US. They’re fast and aggressive towards small prey. We often see them at the edge of streams or ponds.

3/4 to 1.5 inch legspans on these currently.
