Six-spotted Fishing Spider

Description

Dolomedes are very large spiders known as fishing spiders. This listing is for Dolomedes triton, the six-spotted fishing spider. These are perhaps the prettiest species of fishing spider in the US. No photo can do them justice with their semi-holographic green sheen under certain light/angles. They’re fast and aggressive towards small prey. We often see them at the edge of streams or ponds.

1.5 to 2 inches legspans on these currently. They mature out to about 4 or so inches in legspan. $14 ea
