Orthoporus ornatus Texas Banded
$15.99

Description
These banded millipedes are among the longest found in the US. They tolerate dry conditions for a short while, but their substrate should be wet down from time to time as they do burrow to escape the desert heat and dryness in their native range.
Millipedes require a substrate of mixed organic matter (see related products, below).
This particular listing is for an unusual color form of Orthoporus, currently at 3 to 4 inches in length. These are darker than the Orthoporus “gold” we often sell on the site but share the same general “banded” patterning.
