This listing is for one large 32 oz Fruit Fly Culture Drosophila hydei flightless fruit flies. These are larger than the other type of fruit fly we sell on the website. While these D. hydei have wings the flight muscles are inactive and so they, and the subsequent offspring produced in the culture, cannot fly. They are very active and generate a strong feeding response in pets that require small, live feeders.
