Intertidal Pseudoscorpions

Description

Pseudoscorpions are unique arachnids that resemble scorpions without tails. They use their claws to capture small prey like springtails or mites. This listing is for intertidal pseudoscorpions which are collected at low tide on Pacific NW beaches.

Mites or springtails are recommended as feeders. These pseudoscorpion pets should be offered a moist environment, but not wet to the point that standing water might trap and drown them. We have little experience with this species in captivity, so we welcome your shared information if you purchase and attempt to raise them. We used to culture a forest species for years, but these are new for us.
