The Tlitocatl albopilosum Honduran Curly Hair Tarantula is a great beginner species. They are typically, though not always, docile and bites are considered mild compared with other hobby species. The name Curly Hair is a reference to the adult specimen’s appearance.
1/2 to 3/4 or so inch legspan specimens $15 each, captive bred and unsexed.
