Description
Neobarrettia spinosa is the a giant predatory katydid. Their common name on Bugguide is Greater Arid-land Katydid. Sometimes they are called giant red-eyed katydids.
These insects are huge, and green and spiky. They are predators of other living insects and use their spiky front legs to capture and hold them.
Adult males (only) available now. They look really nice but small imperfections may occur as these are wild caught. $55 each. Limit one per customer. These are very, very rarely offered.
