Ummidia sp. are trapdoor spiders that build a silk-lined tunnel into the ground and then disguise a hinged lid at ground level with nearby plant and soil matter. When prey passes by they burst out of nowhere and drag the prey into their burrow.

Buyer beware. These bite and thought bit reports are uncommon, you can bet there will be more than just pain from the physical trauma.
