Hymenopus coronatus, that’s right, Orchid Mantis. It is one of the most requested live pet bugs that people want to buy! There is no other mantis, maybe even insect, that generates the kind of attention this one gets. White bodies, often with pink highlights, lobed legs and a small horn above their pointy pink-striped, white eyes. This species is distinguishable from all other mantises, but then indistinguishable from the orchids and other flowers they may camouflage themselves on.
Do not, do NOT, miss out on these! While you’re thinking, somebody else is clicking! I love to see all the familiar names come out of the woodwork on stuff like this.
L2/L3 nymphs (have shed their skin once or twice), unsexed. No guarantees on sex. We buy and resell these and did not breed them ourselves. Captive bred in the USA. Selling them all. Feeding on fruit flies.

There is a reason I went with bugsincyberspace for my first ever pet mantis. Communication was A+. They were happy to accommodate a shipping request, which was much appreciated. My new friend arrived active and healthy, even taking a fruit fly within five minutes of being unboxed. She recently had her first successful molt with me as well. I’m looking forward to growing her out, and will certainly be adding at least one or two more mantis species to my collection. Thanks so much!
