Description
Kukulcania is known in the pet hobby as the black hole spider.
All specimens sold through this listing, as titled, will be “probable” males. These are sub-adult specimens that look like they are a molt or two away and are “leaning” male. Until they mature, we can’t be absolutely sure but we have created a separate listing to reflect their status.
Current specimens are very likely to mature into males and measure around 1 inch and are Florida locality.
These are very gentle spiders. We do not “recommend” handling anything with a mouth, but we feel pretty comfortable holding these.
We feed them house flies, or small roaches like red runners but similarly sized prey like crickets, etc. work just fine.
The habitat kit we offer in the related products section below is a very suitable home for one of these.
