Antelope Beetle

Description

Dorcus parallelus, the Antelope Beetle, is one of the two US species in the popular stag beetle genus Dorcus that is popularly raised by worldwide pet beetle enthusiasts, and especially popular in Japan. Our native Dorcus are much smaller than the giants made available through the Asian hobby but we still love them anyway.

They are offered here as wild caught female ONLY. Keep in mind that wild caught beetles have usually already met with males and are already fertilized.
