American Sand Assassin

Description

These Homalonychus genus spiders are about as close to the famous Sicarius sand spiders that are coveted from a distance by US arachnid hobbyists (except brown recluses, of course which occupy the same spider family). While Sicarius are known for being very venomous, the venom of these unusual spiders has probably never been “tested” on humans. Don’t find out the hard way!

Currently with 1/2 to 3/4 inch legspans and some growing left to do.
