Dwarf White Isopods

Description

Trichorhina tomentosa are dwarf white isopods. These small isopods or sow bugs reach about 2 to 3 mm. They reproduce quickly and are great for controlling mold, fungus and mites. They are a common source of food for some spiders, amphibians and other terrarium animals. Available in starter colonies of 20 for $10.

This species is more likely to remain just below the surface during the day but not deeper than about 1/3 of an inch.
