Train millipede

Description

Auturus and Euryurus spp. are colorful flat millipedes that reach just under an inch and a half at ultimate size. They are offered at about 3/4 of an inch, give or take and may exceed 1 inch at ultimate size.

Like scorpions, any large polydesmids fluoresce under UV light (see video).

This species does very well in captivity and even breeds, while most polydesmid flat millipedes struggle a bit.

Millipedes require a substrate of mixed organic matter (see related products, below) and these especially need a moist, decomposing wood component to thrive.
