Description
The Golden Thermonectus, Thermonectus sibleyi, is the less common Arizona cousin to the sunburst and banded diving beetles. These aquatic insects live communally in tanks with the other aquatic beetles we offer.
Limit 1 per customer
We simply drop various dead or dying bugs in their tanks like crickets, moths or roaches and they predate them. We prefer moths or house flies since they float.
These live in freshwater. Because they breathe air through their abdomens water quality isn’t the same issue with them as it is with fish, etc. Provide a small bit of floating material in the tank for them to hold onto.
Available as adult beetles and measuring 1/2 or so inches. $14 each. Live arrival is guaranteed with overnight shipping in the sense that we will refund you for the specimen if it doesn’t make it (but no refund on shipping, sorry).
