Description

The Giant Cave Roach Blaberus giganteus is the longest roach in the hobby. Wingspan can exceed 6 inches at maturity! This species cannot climb glass or plastic tank walls. They have the best feeding response of any cockroach I’ve kept although of course if you leave food in there all the time they get spoiled. The like Repashy Bug Burger (see products below).

Cockroaches nutritionally benefit from a substrate of mixed organic matter (see related products, below).

Roaches love jelly products which are healthy, clean, don’t spoil and don’t attract pests or mold like rotting fruit sometimes does, particularly during warmer months of the year. I also offer mine fish food pellets in small amounts for protein and other nutrients. These small pellets disappear quickly and prevent attraction of mites, etc. Substrate in your roach tank provides both nutrition and humidity for your pets. My roach care sheet is located here.
