Wandering Violin

Description
Gongylus gongylodes, a name as exotic as this mantis! The Wandering Violin mimics dead leaves and its violin-shaped body is very unusual for a mantis so large. This species needs heat and lots of climbing structures in its cage. 85 degrees is recommended as they metabolize their food best in warm to hot temperatures. This is not a beginner’s species due to these requirements. Some humidity is important during molting but they generally like it dry.
L2 nymphs, unsexed for $19.99 each.
