Scotobaenus Darkling

Description

Scotobaenus is a genus of darkling beetles that are new to the site. They are roughly medium in size, about 3/4 of an inch long and have some texture on the abdomen (elytra). They are as arboreal as they are terrestrial. They have almost comically small heads in comparison to the size of the pronotum and they are rather flat compared with other tenebs.

We feed them fish food pellets, carrot and apple. They aren’t picky. Size varies a little bit.
