Sawtoothed Millipede

Are you running out of space on the shelf your housemates say is the “designated bug area?” Well, there’s always room for Sawtoothed Millipedes!

Larger species of sawtooth from CA currently available at about 1/2 inch.

These are a smallish, super strange family of millipedes. They measure in at around 1/2 and inch. Not sure if they reach an inch even at maturity. There is a sector of the hobby that likes very small things in nano tanks (small tanks). These are smaller than the more familiar feather millipedes but larger than the bristly millipedes we sometimes offer. As the video below reflects, they likely prefer a cooler habitat than other hobby millipedes.

We simply keep them on moist soil from nature and with rotting wood in a rather small tank.
